What is iOrtho+® Premium and how does it work?

iOrtho+® Premium is a subscription-based WEB app resource focused on tests/techniques of joints in the human body. One can subscribe monthly or yearly. iOrtho+® Premium can be accessed on any browser to be used on a phone, tablet, laptop, and/or desktop computer.

While textbooks are only updated every 3-4 years, iOrtho+® Premium is updated semi-annually to provide you with the most current resource possible. With more than 450 clinical tests and more than 120 manual techniques, the Premium version puts the volume of a textbook at your fingertips for a fraction of the cost . iOrtho+® Premium also includes high-quality images and videos to enhance the user experience.

iOrtho+® Premium is designed to make navigation as simple as touching 1 of the 8 joints/spine areas on the skeleton to then drill down to the sub-categories of clinical tests and manual techniques. Tests/Techniques are organized by location and tissue to make finding a task easy. In an instant, you see a high-quality image/video with access to a concise written description, statistical data, and references.

What do the colored gloves, X’s, arrows, and stars mean?
These items indicate a variety of valuable information. Please select the “Hamburger icon” (3 stacked lines) on the home screen. Select the “Resources” tab to read all about how these items are used in iOrtho+® Premium app. Here is a brief summary:

  • The RED glove is used on the hand performing the stabilization of a structure while the GREEN glove is on the hand creating a movement or mobilizing force
  • Arrows are used to indicate the direction of movement or force application. X’sare used to indicate a point of stabilization or resistance to movement.

  • The arrows & stars in the right column of the clinical tests are to help you quickly identify strong diagnostic and/or screening tools.

    • Individual tests that have sensitivity > 90% are depicted by  i.e. rule OUT the diagnosis (Sn-OUT)
    • When several tests are clustered together to yield a sensitivity > 90%, a     is used
    • Individual tests that have specificity > 90% are depicted by   i.e. rule IN the diagnosis (Sp-IN)
    • When several tests are clustered together to yield a specificity > 90%, a    is used
On which platform can I access iOrtho+® Premium services?

iOrtho+® Premium is available as a Web app by subscribing at: https://iortho.xyz

iOrtho+® Premium can be accessed on any browser to be used on a phone, tablet, laptop, and/or desktop computer.

iOrtho+® Premium is NOT offered as an Apple or Android App so you will not find it in the Apple Store or Google Play. Web apps are much more versatile!

How much does the iOrtho+® Premium mobile app cost?

iOrtho+® Premium subscription comes in monthly and yearly options. Monthly subscriptions cost $1.99 USD and yearly subscriptions cost $9.99 USD. Please note that prices may vary for purchases outside the USA based on conversion rates.

How do I subscribe to iOrtho+® Premium?

Simply go to https://iortho.xyz/
Select “Monthly Subscription $1.99/mo” or “Annual Subscription $9.99/yr”
Follow the prompts to enter your data and payment.  Upon completion of the process, you will receive an email to et your password. 

If your subscription does not “process,” it may be because your email was used before for an iOrtho+ subscription.  Your option is to renew the old subscription if you know you user ID but it would be easier if you simply used another email to subscribe.

When does my subscription begin?

Once your payment is successful and you set your password, your subscription will start immediately. In some rare conditions, it might take up to 24 hours to process but this is rare.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the time-frame selected, i.e. monthly or yearly.
Once renewal is triggered, refunds will not be honored.
Subscribers who wish to unsubscribe should do so before the renewal date to avoid this issue.

Are discounted bulk purchases available for my university, institution, or clinic?

Yes, bulk purchases are available at a discounted rate. We love to support universities, institutions, and clinics.  The rate is based on the volume purchased.  You can request redeem code information and rates by emailing info@iOrtho.xyz.

I have switched to a new mobile phone, can I restore my previous Premium user account on my new mobile phone?

The Web version can be used on any device!  Simply click on “Returning Member to take you to the entry portal: https://premium.iortho.xyz/user/login and enter your user ID and password to obtain access to all content.   

In which countries can I purchase an iOrtho+® Premium subscription?

Although iOrtho+® Premium application is only in English, it is available all over the world

As a demo user, what content can I access in iOrtho+® Premium app?

The demo user option was established to allow a user to view a portion of the resource to see the quality of the work.   Only one joint module i.e. “shoulder” can be viewed in this mode.   Access to the other joints requires a subscription purchase.

I have purchased the subscription (or applied a redeem code), still my profile displays a “Demo User” what is the issue?

This is an unusual situation that rarely happens.  Many years ago, iOrtho+ (not iOrtho+ Premium) was available as an Apple and Google App.   Please make sure you are on the WEB version not an old app version

If your subscription process was successfully completed, please log out of the app and then log back in by selecting “Returning Member.”

While using the app, I am stuck on the loading skeleton screen for an indefinite time, what is the fix for this?

The issue might be due to a slow network connection. If the issue persists, close the app and re-log-in.

Sometimes logging into the app via the “incognito mode” can be successful. This can be found by clicking on the “3 dots” in the upper right corner of your browser.

Can I use the iOrtho+® Premium images/videos for external use?

No, unauthorized copying of the content for any reason is expressly forbidden. Individuals may be liable for copyright infringement from unauthorized duplication in any format.

How can I submit a test/technique that is currently not in the app?

You can contribute to iOrtho+® Premium by sending a test or technique to info@iortho.xyz. The test MUST be a published test or technique in a peer-reviewed journal. Please send the test/technique and the reference to us . If your contribution is included, you will be rewarded with a credit within the app.  In addition, you will be recognized for your contribution to the resource.

How to keep your account secure?

To keep your account secure:

  1. Never share your password with anyone.
  2. Keep your browser up to date.
  3. Have antivirus protection.
  4. Your password should be easy to remember, but hard to guess.
  5. Remember to log out of your account, if you are using a public computer.
Will I be able to purchase the subscription if I am an unverified user?

No, you have to verify your email in order set a password when you subscribe to the monthly or yearly options.   Verifying your email enables us to send you purchase receipts, promotional offers, future updates, etc.   We never share your information will any other third parties.

If I have forgotten my password or want to change my password, how do I reset it?

If you remember your old password, you can change your password to a new one.  If you do not remember your old password, you will need to reset your password.

To change or reset your password:

  • Navigate to the profile screen
  • Click on “My Account”
  • On the My Account screen, click on “Change Password”
  • Fill your old password and new password details and click on the “Change Password” button.
  • You will receive an email to confirm the reset.
  • Follow the instructions in the email message.
  • NOTE: Please check your spam folder if a message does not appear in a reasonable time.
How can I change my email?
Your email is your unique method to access iOrtho+ Premium
Go to: https://premium.iortho.xyz/home
To change your email follow these steps:

  • Click on Account
  • Click on My Account
  • Click on the Update Profile
  • Locate the email ID text field on the screen, enter the new email ID.
  • Click on “Update Profile
  • On successful updating, the new email ID would be set as your default email ID.
  • You will receive a confirmation email message for this change as well.
Can I edit my profile details?

Yes, you can change limited information after your initial set-up. 
Go to …..

  • Click on Account
  • Click on My Account
  • Click on the Update Profile to save the data
Is it possible to upgrade my monthly to an annual subscription or downgrade my annual subscription to a monthly subscription?

Yes, it is possible to do BOTH.  The easiest way to do this is at your renewal date because you get the best value for your money.  However, the option is always yours to do as you wish.

From the home screen, select “Account” then “Purchase.” 

This takes you to “Manage Subscriptions.”

If you are in a monthly subscription, you can switch to yearly.   If you are in a yearly subscription, you can switch to monthly. 

You could also cancel your subscriptions from this location but please understand, refunds for remaining balances will NOT by issued.

Can I cancel my subscription? What happens if I cancel?

Yes, you always have the right to cancel your subscription but you will no longer be a Premium subscriber of iOrtho+®.
Once you cancel, full access to the app will be removed.  Users will NOT be issued a refund for any remaining balance of unused funds.  

Cancelling a subscription is simple:
1. On the Home Page select Account
2. Select Purchase
3. Select Cancel Subscription
